A spicy flavoring for soups, sauces, meats and pickles. Only a small quantity of this yellow or orange colored oil is needed for perfumery. It has also been used to treat bladder or kidney complaints, arthritis, flatulence, jaundice and decreased lactation. Helps quite the nervous system and stimulate metabolism. It's fragrance is very long lasting. It is in the British Herbal Pharmacopoeia for rheumatoid arthritis and depression.
